Terms of Service

By accessing or using SkinReflex ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SkinReflex. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. You must also have a valid, non-limited Steam account in good standing. SkinReflex reserves the right to refuse service to any user at its sole discretion.

To use SkinReflex, you must authenticate through your Steam account. By doing so, you authorize us to access your public Steam profile information, including your Steam ID, display name, avatar, and trade URL. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account and any activity that occurs through your SkinReflex account.

You agree not to share your account credentials, create multiple accounts, or use another person's account without permission. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

SkinReflex provides a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can buy, sell, deposit, and withdraw virtual items ("skins") for the video game Rust. We act solely as an intermediary facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers. SkinReflex does not own, manufacture, or guarantee the value of any virtual items traded on the Platform.

Virtual items have no inherent real-world value. Prices are determined by market conditions and user listings. SkinReflex makes no guarantees regarding the future value, availability, or tradability of any item.

All purchases and sales made on SkinReflex are final and non-refundable. Once a transaction is completed, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or refunded. This applies to all marketplace purchases, item deposits, item withdrawals, and cryptocurrency transactions.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the item details, pricing, and listing information, and that you accept full responsibility for your purchasing decisions. SkinReflex is not responsible for buyer's remorse, pricing disputes between users, or changes in item value after a transaction is completed.

In the event of a technical error that results in an incorrect transaction, SkinReflex will review the matter on a case-by-case basis but is not obligated to issue a refund or reversal.

SkinReflex charges a platform fee on marketplace sales, which is deducted from the seller's proceeds at the time of sale. The default fee rate is 2%, though this rate may vary for certain users at SkinReflex's discretion. A 1% fee is applied to cryptocurrency withdrawals.

Fee rates are subject to change. Any changes to fee structures will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after fee changes constitutes acceptance of the new rates.

When you deposit items to SkinReflex, ownership of those items is transferred to a bot account operated by the Platform. Items are held in custody until you choose to list them for sale or withdraw them back to your Steam inventory.

Cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals are processed through third-party payment providers. SkinReflex is not responsible for delays, network fees, or errors caused by blockchain networks or third-party payment processors. You are responsible for providing the correct wallet address and selecting the appropriate network when withdrawing cryptocurrency. Funds sent to an incorrect address or network cannot be recovered.

When listing an item for sale, you are responsible for setting an accurate and fair price. SkinReflex may provide suggested pricing based on market data, but the final listing price is your decision. By listing an item, you agree that it may be purchased by any eligible buyer at the listed price.

SkinReflex reserves the right to remove listings that appear fraudulent, deceptive, or in violation of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
• Manipulate prices, engage in wash trading, or artificially inflate item values
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in the Platform
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform without authorization
• Attempt to circumvent Platform fees or security measures
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
• Impersonate SkinReflex staff, moderators, or other users

Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban, forfeiture of account balance and inventory, and reporting to relevant authorities where applicable.

SkinReflex reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or legal requirements. Upon termination, SkinReflex may, at its discretion, allow the user to withdraw remaining items or balance, or may freeze the account pending investigation.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is the property of SkinReflex or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.

SkinReflex integrates with third-party services including Steam (Valve Corporation), cryptocurrency payment processors, and pricing data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. SkinReflex does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of pricing data, item descriptions, or market information displayed on the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinReflex and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or virtual items. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to SkinReflex in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkinReflex and its operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the national laws of the member state in which the Platform operator is established. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts within the European Union, except where prohibited by law.

SkinReflex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valve Corporation, Facepunch Studios, or any of their affiliates. All trademarks, logos, and brand names (including Steam, Rust, and related marks) are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes. Virtual items available on the Platform are subject to the terms and conditions of their respective game publishers, who may modify, regulate, or remove items at any time.
